DTA and SNAP Recipients

Competitive Integrated Employment Service (CIES)

Families who receive DTA cash benefits work with the Career Center to create and achieve their plan for self-sufficiency.  You will have access to:

  • Child Care services and transportation reimbursement through DTA
  • Individual career counseling, job search assistance, and post-employment support  
  • Training funds when appropriate & available 

This program will meet your DTA work requirement of 20 or 30 hours per week.

Work Participant Program (WPP)

People who receive DTA SNAP benefits (or are referred by DTA) can receive services and assistance in achieving their employment goals.  You will have access to:

  • Workshops
  • Job fairs and employer recruitment
  • Access to our Resource Room
  • Individual career counseling and guidance 
  • Training funds when appropriate & available 

This program will meet your Able Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWD) requirement as well as your DTA work requirement.
