Employer Spotlight: NAMS Taekwondo

NAM’s Diversity School is hiring 3 part-time positions with potential for growth and promotion within the organization.  NAM’s runs before and after school programs as well as Summer programming for local youth. NAM’s is a Taekwondo (Martial Arts) studio but Taekwondo is only one aspect of the overall organization. Their primary function is youth programming and they are looking to hire those who enjoy working with children of all ages.

These are the three current openings (while these jobs are part time, they become full-time positions during the Summer months and during school vacation times):

1. 7D Driver (school van). The Driver will be trained with NAM’s covering all expenses; the 7D certification is something the employee can retain with minimum effort.  Candidate must pass a 7D physical.  The 7D driver also meets requirements for assistant group leader/ group leader or assistant teacher/ teacher.

2. Assistant Group Leader, or Group leader.  This person must be able to work with children 1:1 and in group.  Students going into education or retired educators are perfect for this role.

3. Assistant teacher or teacher. Same requirements as group leader, but with some experience working in groups.
