MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center offers live, interactive job search and career-readiness webinars that can be viewed using a computer, tablet, or smart phone. (Computers are highly recommended, to be able to see more clearly the information presented.) In addition, the Career Center Seminar, WIOA Orientation, and other training information sessions are being offered remotely or in person.
You can register through JobQuest or call the Greenfield Career Center at 413-774-4361 or 800-457-2603. Please indicate your preference for remote or in person. Please note: Those who register less than 24 hours ahead of the scheduled start time may not be accommodated, due to the technical aspects involved with registration.
Career Center staff will do our best to help people connect to the webinars even if you have no experience using webinars. Webex or Zoom webinar guides are sent with the event invitations. Questions may also be asked within the text-based Chat feature of each webinar, after you have joined. Or you may call the Career Center front desk at 413-774-4361 or 800-457-2603 for assistance before the webinar or at the start of the webinar if you are having difficulty joining.
The Social Security Administration offers a monthly online event for people who are age 18 – 64 and who are receiving Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits. Go to choosework.ssa.gov/wise to find out about and register for the next event.

On demand videos now available on MassHire JobQuest for anyone registered in JobQuest. You will need to have a completed Career Action Plan entered in JobQuest. Videos are in English and Spanish – other languages to be added over time. Once you have a JobQuest account and CAP, log in to your account. Culinary Arts Training Info. Session

Come to Smith Vocational and Agricultural H.S. to learn about free training that starts September 18 — 80 Locust St., Northampton. Successful completion of the training course will prepare you for an entry-level position as a line cook or prep cook.
