The Franklin Hampshire Workforce area straddles two Comprehensive Economic Development planning regions and is one of two workforce areas comprising the Pioneer Valley Workforce Regional Plan.  Franklin County and the North Quabbin area are part of the Franklin County Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.  Hampshire County is part of the Pioneer Valley Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.
